Each camper will learn the basics of how to ride, groom, saddle, bridle and care for a horse. There will be theory on horsemanship, along with fun and games.
At Tannenfels we offer safe, well-schooled horses and a caring and enthusiastic staff. Your child will be under total supervision at all times. The day at Tannenfels starts at 9:00 a.m. and runs through until 4:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.During this time, your child will be on horseback for two hours each day. First session at 10:00 a.m. and the second comensing at 2:00 p.m.
Between classes, campers will be provided with complete theory, arts and crafts and mini-quizzes. Every Friday, we will have an open house for parents to come and see their child's progress along with a horse show for the Campers.
Upon succssful completion, our students will recieve a Horsemanship award and a personalized Tannenfels T-Shirt.
At Tannenfles, our goal is to provide the most fun-filled, safe and interesting summer for our Campers.
We accept campers from the ages of 6 thru 16 , and all levels of experience are welcome.
