RORIOSO is an imported Baverian stallion, he is very interestingly line bred.
His grand sire is the stallion RENOIR I, this stallion was third at his 100 day test and also has a very busy show schedule. His sire is ROMANDOUR II, one of the most popular stallions in the Westfalian breeding, he hardly needs an introduction. He sired such stallions as REINGOLD, the champion stallion in 1976, and ROMANOW, the champion stallion in 1978. Like his father, REINGOLD also produced ROLLS ROYCE, the champion stallion of his year. ROMANDOUR II also sired ROSENKAVALIER, RHEINBLICK, RENOIR I and RAPALLO, the foundation and most sought after stallions today. The most famous offspring must be REMBRANDT who, under Nicole Uphoff, was European champion in 1986, Olympic gold medalist in 1988 and world champion in 1990 with the highest points ever. ROMANDOUR II still has the highest dressage index to date. Also on his sires side he goes back to one of the foundation stallions in the Hannoverian breeding, the stallion GRANDE. This stallion has produced such approved sons as GRAPHIT, GRALSRITTER, GLANDER, GRUENEWALD, GRADIZ, GRANDIOS, GRANDISSIMO, GARIBALDI I and II, GAUGRAF, GRANDUELL I and II and GRAZIANO. GRANDE also produced a number of outstanding sport horses like GRANISON and GALAPAGOS both ridden by G. Grillo, GRATULANT 2 ridden by Gert Wiltfang, SANTA GRUZ ridden by W. Bettinger, GIGOLO the dressage horse of Isabelle Werth and many, many more.
On his mothers side RORIOSO is line bred back to one of the great ones, the big chestnut stallion with the white belly spot, the stallion FURIOSO II this Anglo Norman stallion has left his impression in just about every German and European riding horse breed. FURIOSO II was the full brother of the also famous MEXICO.
RORIOSO is a very promising young stallion with all the athletic ability in the world. He has started showing both in dressage as well as in the jumper ring.
RORIOSO has produced some exceptional foal with excellent conformation and beautiful necks. He has been licenced for breeding by the American Warmblood Society. RORIOSO has been sold and is only avilable by frozen semen.
