GLÜCKSTREICH, is a classic. An older type mare combining such foundation bloodlines like; GOTTHARD and FURIOSO, the same bloodlines that created the well known stallion VOLTAIRE.
She produced the lovely DAIMLER D' ADRIERS filly JANGELINA who was the top scoring filly of the Canada and USA at the 2008 "Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar International" (RPSI) inspection,
On her sires side the stallion GOTTHARD became world famous as a sire of international competition horses and sired several approved sons like GOLDSTEIN, GARDESTERN II, GOLDCUP and GOLDSCHLAGER to just name a few.
On her mother's side she goes back to the legendary FURIOSO XX, probably the greatest Thoroughbred sire of show jumpers in the world. He sired top competitors, which included more than 30 international winners and ten Olympic show jumpers, he was the sire of the Olympic gold medalist LUTTEUR B and the World champion POMONE B. His most famous sons are the two full brothers FURIOSO II who has 55 approved sons and MEXICO who sired the stallion LE MEXICO a top show jumper and TEXICO DU PARC who jumped for Spain at the 1984 Olympics, also LAEKEN a member of the winning French Nations Cup team. We certainly managed to get the best of both worlds by combining the old and the more modern.
