MEGASTAR was awarded Gold Premium, scoring 8.3 total at the "Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar International" (RPSI) inspection. Scoring 8.3 all around!

Her sire MAGNUM FFT is a moderately framed stallion with exceptional jumping ability. As a 5 year old MAGNUM FFT represented the US in the YJC Continental Finals, in Monterrey, Mexico and was the best US based horse. He went on to have a career in the Young Jumpers through grandprix show jumping. MAGNUM FFT was ranked the leading active sire of YJC horses in 2008, and was 2nd in 2009!Holsteiner breeders in Germany used MATLON XX, MAGNUM FFT’s grandsire, from 1965 when he was imported, until 1981 when he died. MARLON XX reached his peak in 1975 when he became Germany’s leading sire of event horses. That same year, he was ranked second in earnings of offspring among all German sires of conformation and suitability event horses. He sired a phenomenal 21 approved stallion MARLON XX, an Irish thoroughbred, exerted much influence in the Holstein breed due to his versatility as a sire. One of his most notable sons was MENTOR, shown by Otto Becker and the stallion MAGNAT Z who stood at Zangersheide. On MAGNUM FFT’s dams side he goes back to CALYPSO II is by one of the greatest stallions that ever lived, COR DE LA BRYÈRE who had 41 approved. Without any doubt, COR DE LA BRYÈRE deserves the title of foundation sire! Also on MAGNUM FFT’s dams side is the stallion FREDERICUS His dam, WARTHBURG is a very important mare, who accumulates the performance genes from ETHELBRRT, AEHILL and CICERO, they are responsible for laying the foundation of the Holsteiner Sporthorse as the world’s leading jumping stud book. WARTHBURG was born in 1962 and was bought as a weanling by Baron Friedrich Christian de Kielmansegg. After a competition career as a jumper, she produced the filly JENNI, by the Thoroughbred stallion, LITTLE LION XXJENNI is the dam of ORCHIDEE, who was a member of the gold medal winning German jumping team at the Seoul Olympic Games with Dirk Hafemeister. ORCHIDEE in turn was the dam of AVION (Athlet Z) ridden in International competition by Ludger Beerbaum. WARTHBURG then produced six foals by LADYKILLER XX. LANDGRAF I was born in 1966, LANDGRAF I had a very good temperament which he passes on dominantly, together with excellent movement. LANDGRAF I went on to become a legend, not only in the Holsteiner breeding, but worldwide, he has produced 45 approved sons.

Her dam SUPERSTAR is truly a dressage riders dream. Her sire SALUT is definitely the best moving stallion on this continent today. He descends from a long line of outstanding dressage horses. His sire SULTAN was ridden by Dr. Reimer Klimke. His grand sire, PATRON, is regarded as the most important upgrading post-war sire in the Trakehner breed. He had the reputation as a sure producer of very ride able dressage horses. PATRON sired many states premium mares and 13 approved stallions including PASTERNAK, who is approved for Rheinland and MACKENSEN, who himself was champion of his 100 day test in Neumunster in 1978 and produced a number of approved stallions, such as CHARLY CHAPLIN, CHANTILLY, ELIGIUS, SAMURAI, VELASQUEZ, MEPHISTOPHELES, he also produced some phenomenal sport horses like EPSILON, PALADIN 63 and PLEASE ME to just name a few. MACKENSEN is the producer of the highest money earning Trakehner offspring, they have eared over 200'000DM mainly in dressage to date. He is also the half brother to the stallion MAHAGONI. On SALUT'S mother's side, he goes back to KASSIO, the most important representative of the famous ABGLANZ bloodline. KASSIO produced 13 approved sons like GRIMSEL, GRISET, GREGOR and GELRIA. ABGLANZ had a huge impact on the Warmblood breeding in Germany. ABGLANZ produced such stallions as AALFÄNGER, ABEND, ABGOTT, ABHANG I to III, ABSTAND, ABSURD, AKROBAT, ARTUR, KASSIO, MORGENGLANZ, VALENTIN, ARCHIMEDES and the most famous ABSATZ. He also produced such sport horses as ZUKUNFT who was the international show jumper ridden by Alwin Schockemöhle. MORGENGLANZ by ABGLANZ has founded a strong sire line in North America. The most famous post-war representative of the DAMPFROSS line is ABGLANZ. He also founded the A-line in the modern Hannoverian breed and is a sire of international importance. KASSIO's son, GELRIA was the only privately owned stallion in history to be rented by two state studs from 1985 to 1988 - Hannover state stud Celle and in 1990 - Baden Württemberg state stud Marbach. GELRIA was noted for his magnificent trot and canter; he has 5 approved sons like STUEBEN, champion stallion purchased by Celle in 1981, and GRAND GALOPIN, winner of the 1990 Stallion performance test in Adelheidsdorf. GELRIA also sired such sport horses as GODIVA 13, GOLDEGG, GRAF GEORG and GWENDA. Also on his mothers side SALUT goes back to the outstanding stallion IMPULS who produced 16 approved sons and two Olympic horses IMANUEL 1972 in München competing for East Germany and DAHLWITZ 1979 in Montreal competing for the USA. Her dam ZITRONE is a born performance horse with excellent dressage bloodlines. True to her breeding, she won the first dressage show she ever entered, ZITRONE kept on winning and never looked back. This mare has exceptional movement and a brilliant mind. Her sire is the World Cup dressage horse ZORN by CHAGALL, who is also the sire of such horses as the Olymic bronze medallist GAUGUIN DE LULLY ridden by Christine Schtueckelberger and also the Olympic gold medallist PIAFF, ridden by Liselott Linsenhoff. Her dam {PIÑATA} is an old type, heavy boned, large framed mare, with ground covering strides and incredible scope over fences. PIK KÖNIG produced the two famous stallions PIK BUBE I and the Celle owned PIK BUBE II. Both are sires of excellent dressage as well as jumping progency. PIK BUBE I was a Prix St George horse with Herbert Rehbein, his daughter PIKANTJE became the German National Riding Horse Champion and her son PICASSO was exported to Denmark where he stands at stud.
