ASPIN is a smaller type Hannoverian mare. She is a compact powerhouse with an outstanding pedigree.
ASPIN is also an ADLERFARN I daughter, ADLERFARN I was one of the first refinement stallions to stand at stud in Celle. ADLERFARN I sired many outstanding competition horses such as ANSWER, a world cup winner ridden by Hugo Simon.
On her mothers side she also has the great GRANDE, the sire of such stallions as GRANDUELL and the horse GUTE SITTE, a bronze medalist at the 1976 Montreal Olympic games also GALAPAHOS, winner of the individual bronze and the team gold in 1981 at the European Dressage Championship in Laxenburg, Austria. Also the stallion DUELLANT is in her pedigree, his sire DOLMAN produced DOLLART founded another branch of the D-line mainly in jumping, through DOMSPATZ and DON CARLOS. Out of this line also comes Thomas Fuchs DOLLAR GIRL, ridden for Switzerland and rated as one of the 1990's best show jumpers, now ridden by Nick Skelton for Great Britain.
ASPIN is a fantastic producer of quality sport horses such as: CHAMP'S CHOICE, PIPILANGSTRUMPF, APFELMUS, CABALLERO, WALDFEE, LE GRANDE and LE CARLOS.
