He is a full brother to MALIBU.

His sire MAGNUM FFT is a moderately framed stallion with exceptional jumping ability. As a 5 year old MAGNUM FFT represented the US in the YJC Continental Finals, in Monterrey, Mexico and was the best US based horse. He went on to have a career in the Young Jumpers through grandprix show jumping. MAGNUM FFT was ranked the leading active sire of YJC horses in 2008, and was 2nd in 2009!Holsteiner breeders in Germany used MATLON XX, MAGNUM FFT’s grandsire, from 1965 when he was imported, until 1981 when he died. MARLON XX reached his peak in 1975 when he became Germany’s leading sire of event horses. That same year, he was ranked second in earnings of offspring among all German sires of conformation and suitability event horses. He sired a phenomenal 21 approved stallion MARLON XX, an Irish thoroughbred, exerted much influence in the Holstein breed due to his versatility as a sire. One of his most notable sons was MENTOR, shown by Otto Becker and the stallion MAGNAT Z who stood at Zangersheide. On MAGNUM FFT’s dams side he goes back to CALYPSO II is by one of the greatest stallions that ever lived, COR DE LA BRYÈRE who had 41 approved. Without any doubt, COR DE LA BRYÈRE deserves the title of foundation sire! Also on MAGNUM FFT’s dams side is the stallion FREDERICUS His dam, WARTHBURG is a very important mare, who accumulates the performance genes from ETHELBRRT, AEHILL and CICERO, they are responsible for laying the foundation of the Holsteiner Sporthorse as the world’s leading jumping stud book. WARTHBURG was born in 1962 and was bought as a weanling by Baron Friedrich Christian de Kielmansegg. After a competition career as a jumper, she produced the filly JENNI, by the Thoroughbred stallion, LITTLE LION XXJENNI is the dam of ORCHIDEE, who was a member of the gold medal winning German jumping team at the Seoul Olympic Games with Dirk Hafemeister. ORCHIDEE in turn was the dam of AVION (Athlet Z) ridden in International competition by Ludger Beerbaum. WARTHBURG then produced six foals by LADYKILLER XX. LANDGRAF I was born in 1966, LANDGRAF I had a very good temperament which he passes on dominantly, together with excellent movement. LANDGRAF I went on to become a legend, not only in the Holsteiner breeding, but worldwide, he has produced 45 approved sons.

His dam FEUERKRONE is a tall dressage type mare with elastic gaits. She has been professionally started and is extremely well balanced. Her sire FEUEROPAL, this stallion is a spectacular athlete with numerous winnings and placing in the high preliminary jumping competitions in Germany. FEUEROPAL is now being trained and will be shown by Doug Henry of Canada. FEUEROPAL's sire, WERTHER, is a son of the famous WENDEKREIS who has sired such stallions as WAGNER, WENDELIN, WENDENBURG, WENDLAND II, WENDULAN and WILDFANG. Also in his pedigree is the stallion MARCIO XX, most noted for producing ride ability. On his mother's side FEUEROPAL goes back to one of the greatest Trakehner stallions that ever lived, IMPULS. This horse has 16 approved sons and produced such horses as DAHLWITZ who was ridden by Edith Master of the USA Olympic Team in Montreal in 1976. Also on his mother's side is WINNETOU, a son of FERDINAND, who sired horses like WIDUKIND, international show jumper, ridden by Eric Wauters of Belgium, FERDL, team jumping gold medalist at the 1960 Olympics, ridden by Alvin Schockemoehle, MEHMED, gold medalist 1976 Olympics, ridden by Dr. Reimer Klimke, and FLIPPER, an international show jumper ridden by Hugo Simon. Her dam BROOK'S CROWN is a large framed Swedish mare. She has herself successfully competed in 3 day eventing in the USA. Her dam is by THREE CROWNS, he was a very successful upper level dressage horse. She goes back to the famous stallion CHAGALL who produced the world famous stallion and Olympic bronze medalist GAUGUIN DE LULLY.
