AKONDA is a Hannoverian mare with an outstanding pedigree that carries through with the WINCHESTER talent for an impressive jumping technique.
AKONDA is a full sister to ALPENROSE.
Her sire ADLERFARN I stood for many years in Celle, he sired many fine competition horses such as ANSWER a world cup winner ridden by Hugo Simon.
On her dam's side we find the stallion WINCHESTER, he was ridden here in Canada by Ian Miller. He is by the stallion WINNETOU whose name still shows up in many International jumping pedigrees today. We also find in her pedigree on her mothers side the stallion GRANDE, the sire of such stallions as: GRANDUELL and the horse GUTE SITTE, a bronze medalist at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, also GALAPAHOS, winner of the individual bronze and the team gold in 1981 at the European Dressage Championship in Luxemburg, Austria.
AKONDA'S offspring are keen scopy jumpers with incredible balance. AKONDA herself is no stranger to the show ring with superior jumping ability.
