VEGAS was awarded Gold Premium, scoring a lovely 8.1 total at the "Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar International" (RPSI) inspection. Scoring a bold 8.0 for type, and an enormous 8.2 for his eye catching movement!
VEGAS is a full brother to VAJAS.
His sire FOREVER is a tremendously talented jumper. He has competed in CSI's in Europe and North America with countless winnings and placing to his credit. In 1996 and 1997 he also competed at CSI-W. His sire VOLTAIRE is an outstanding performer and has produced many amazing stallions, VOLTAIRE is the result of crossing two significant bloodlines, FURIOSO II and GOTTHARD. As a Grand Prix jumper, VOLTAIRE has proven himself in International Show Jumping in Calgary, Stockholm and Wembly. In 1989 he won the Grand Prix of Berlin, this made him a legend in his own time. He also had the most offspring's at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, he also sired such horses as ALTAIR ridden by Beth Underhill and PLAY IT AGAIN ridden by Ian Miller and the horse of the Year FINESSE ridden by Emile Hendrix. VOLTAIRE is the 3rd leading sire of show jumpers in Holland and 4th leading sire in the World. He has sired such stallions in Holland as OLYMPIC CONCORD, DAMOCLES, EQUADOR, FARMER and GERSWIN, along with the stallions ELECTRO in Sweden and FIREVER in Belgium just to name a few. VOLTAIRE has also sired such performance horses as, HALLO HALLO, FANTAST, DANTE, VIVALDI, ESPECIAL, ELECTRA, ETAIRE, DON and CONCORED they are already highly placed, and making a name for themselves in International Show Jumping. On his dams' side, FOREVER goes back to the stallion ABGAR XX a French Thoroughbred stallion that produced a large number of show jumpers. His best known son's are PELE, TREFFER (Olympic show jumper) PION the stallion who produced such dressage stallions as AKTION and DEMOCRAAT, and of course the stallion OMMEN an outstanding show jumper who also competed at the 1986 world cup finals. Also in FOREVER's pedigree we find one of the best Thoroughbreds in the Warmblood breeding, the stallion LUCKY BOY XX. He produced a huge number of leading approved sires, which included NATUREL, CANDYBOY, DERRICK, NOOITGEDACHT, DUTCH BOY, CASANOVA, OBRECHT, A LUCKY ONE, OMEGA, (the sire of BELMONDO, OCTROOI) BEAUJOLAIS and COLUMBUS. At the Los Angeles Olympics there were three sons of LUCKY BOY, and his show jumpers include CALYPSO, VAN GOGH and THE VICTOR.
His dam LA PIP is an impressive solid mare.
This mare is just like her sire LE COMTE II and will definitely make a superb show jumper!
LA PIP scored 7.4 total, with 7.4 for both type and for movement at the "Rheinland-Pfalz-Saar International" (RPSI) inspection.
Her sire LE COMTE II has proven himself in the breeding shed as well as in the show ring, competing at open jumper and up to Prix St. George in dressage. He is the full brother to the also approved stallion LE COMTE I who stands in Germany.
On his sires side he comes from the champion Holsteiner stallion LEANDER, who is best known for his presence and exceptional movement. LEANDER sired some superb sport horses like the champion dressage horse LIDQ 54. He also produced some excellent stallions like LEGATO, LAGANO (now breeding in Denmark), in Hessen, the champion stallion of 1982, LEANDERS's BOY (now in Switzerland) and LEANCON. With the mare TOSCANA he produced two approved sons LE COMTE I and LE COMTE II. Also in LE COMTE II's pedigree we find the legendary stallion LADYKILLER XX. He stood at stud from 1965 to 1979 and is still one of the most sought after names in pedigrees of both breeding and competition horses. LADYKILLER XX sired 23 approved stallions and one of them LANDGRAF I, he was the leading West German sire with the highest progeny earnings in competition. Also the stallion LORD who needs no introduction and LAGOS, LORENZ who also stood in Holland where he was very influential, LEANDER the champion stallion in 1973 and LIDO to just name a few. On his mothers side is the "stempelhengst" COR DE LA BRYERE one of the most popular stallions ever. He produced such top level competition horses as CONTRAST ridden by Herbert Blöcker at the three day event World Championships in 1982, the International show jumper COSTA ridden by Michael Rüping and the leading Grand Prix dressage horse CORLANDUS ridden by Margit Otto Crepin for France. On her mothers side PIPILANGSTRUMPF is one of ASPIN'S daughters. She is a half sister to CHAMP'S CHOICE, who is now showing under the Irish rider Kevin Babington. Her sire PAJAS goes back to the stallion PIK KOENIG who produced the two famous stallions PIK BUBE I and the Celle owned PIK BUBE II. Both are sires of excellent dressage as well as jumping progeny. PIK BUBE I was a Prix St George horse with Herbert Rehbein, his daughter PIKANTJE became the German National Riding Horse Champion and her son PICASSO was exported to Denmark.
