Her sire DON CAMILLO is a majestic older imported gentleman, he had a distinguished carrier in the dressage ring.His sire is the famous DON CARLOS the founder of the mainly jumping D line. He is the sire of the Celle state owned stallions DAKAR, DON JUAN, DON PEDRO and DROSSELKLANG I and II. His best known progeny are DANIELA, she finished 3rd at the European Championship of young riders in 1987 ridden by U. Kirchhoff and DIAVOLO 4 who competed very successfully under P. Schmitz in National and International show jumping competitions. This line has a very large family that is extremely successful and highly respected in breeding terms. Thomas Fuches' DOLLAR GIRL by DYNAMO is rated as one of the 1990's best show jumpers. She originally competed for Switzerland, but now is ridden by Nick Skelton for Great Britain. Also, very well known is the mare DIVA that is competing under Jay Hays for Canada and was a member of the Canadian Olympic team in Sydney, Australia On his dam's side he goes back to WEDEKIND one of the three most popular stallions of the W line. Her dam RICOLA is a very elegant and powerful moving mare. Her sire REMARKABLE descends from a very noble, blue-blooded, heavily Trakehner influenced lineage. His sire, REMBRANDT, was the champion of the 1979 100-day performance test in Adelheidsdorf, Germany. His grand sire, FLANEUR, produced 15 approved sons and is highly regarded for his high dressage index. He also sired the stallions TROUBADOUR, ridden by Christian Plaege (USA) and ISTANBUL, who produced the 1989 Derby-champion, GOLDKORN, ridden by Hugo Simon, to name just a couple. FLANEUR has proven himself to be not only one of the most consistent stallion producers, but he has also produced some outstanding mares, such as MAHARANI II, the mother of MAHAGONI, MARLON and MACKENSEN. FLANEUR is by MAHARADSCHA, whose most famous daughter was ABIZA, the dam of AMIGO, a Pan American Games bronze medalist in eventing, and ABDULLAH, a gold medal winner in show jumping at the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles. IBIKUS has several approved sons such as RAUBRITTER, KAWANGO, IBI-BELL and MIDT WEST IBI-LIGHT, the winner of the 1988 100-day performance test who is now being ridden by Kyra Kyrklund of Sweden.
