FANIKA is an imported Oldenburg mare; she is one of the fanciest hunters you will see. FANIKA was at her first show and placed second overall in her division. This mare is simple and easy to ride; she is quiet and just wants to please.
Her sire HARVARD is by the attractive black stallion HOHENSTEIN. Who was the 2002 Trakehner Stallion of the Year, he is a noble stallion who attracts attention with his type, expression and beautiful black coat. A harmonious horse that stands over a lot of ground, he possesses optimal movement in all three basic gaits. His energetic rear quarters produce movement with lots of swing and power. He was the outstanding stallion of his 1993 keuring, Reserve Champion of his stallion performance test, where he was the most striking and noticeable horse. He lived up to the attention with a win in the rideability portion of the test. HOHENSTEIN was the 1995 Trakehner Champion and third in the Federal "S" Championships. By the age of seven, he had already won his first "S" dressage event. He also has plenty of wins in Prix St. George and Intermediare I. HOHENSTEIN’s sire, Elite Stallion CAPRIMOND, has achieved a special position within and without the Trakehner breed by his prepotency to sire dressage talent. HOHENSTEIN’s offspring are following this example, and he already has twelve approved sons, one of them Champion, MUENCHHAUSEN. Four of his get were at the Federal Championship of Germany 2000, and one, HABITUS, sold for DM 320,000 at Verdan. His offspring continue to be much sought after and achieve record prices at auction. In 1999 HOHENSTEIN was elected an Elite Stallion. He sires 65% black offspring, and seems to have a "nick" with WELTMEYER mares. Performance Test in Adelheidsdorf with an outstanding dressage ranking of 148.29 - the highest of his group and in jumping with 102.95. He was a finalist in the five-year old division at the German Bundeschampionate, and continued to be trained up to Intermediaire II level by Andreas Platzdasch. With no less than 10 licensed stallions among them the winner of stallions licensing and most expensive horse at Trakehner Eliteauction 1999 Münchhausen. One year later Global Player put a spell on the audience being sold at $170’000. At the same time DONAUWEISE has been purchased at the highest price as a broodmare at $45’000 and proved her sires status as a producer of top class horses in a row.
Her dam FABIENNE is by the stallion PRINZ MIRO who was vice Reserve Champion of his stallion testing and won 1st Main Premium at the Oldenburg approvals in 1982. His approved sons, PROFESSOR, PRINCIPAL and the premium stallion PRINZ ROYAL, represented his breeding area of Oldenburg in the Federal Championships at Vechta. His daughter PERSHING won her class at the Federal Championships in Aachen. According to the FN breeding value rating PRINZ MIRO is an outstanding sire of show jumpers and dressage horses. PRINZ MIRO's sire PIK BUBE is a legendary, highly successful and versatile stallion, ridden by Herbert Rehbein to multiple Grand Prix wins in dressage. He produced 29 approved stallions, over 28 States Premium mares and over 130 competition horses earning over 1,056.837 DM! PIK PRIMAIRE, under Herbert Rehbein won over 129,000 DM as a dressage horse! His daughter PIKANTJE won the German Riding Horse Championships in 1981. His daughter FANTASIA produced the German Riding Horse Champion and Approved stallion DON PRIMERO (by DONNERHALL). ROULETTE’S grandmother, EDELALM was sired by the highly successful advanced dressage competitor and one of the most famous and sought after sires of dressage horses in Germany: AKTUELL. AKTUELL sired many excellent competition and breeding horses. Among them is the approved stallion, AL MARTINO initially ridden by Nadine Capellmann-Biffar, Klaus Balkenhol then took over. His success story meanwhile includes more than 35 wins and high placements at advanced International level up the Grand Prix Special. PRINZ MIRO’S dam is sired by the extraordinary Grand Prix jumping sire RAMIRO Z. His daughter RATINA Z won the Olympic Team Gold Medal in Show Jumping as well as the Individual Silver. His son LECTRON won the Team Bronze Medal for the US in Dressage. VOLLKORN XX, the sire of VOLTURNO, was a member of the Olympic Silver Medal Three Day Team, and also, competed in 20 International events, retiring sound!
