Her sire AMATEUR is a solid gray East German bred stallion; he has competed up to Prix St. George in dressage and also showed in the open jumpers. Today he is a schoolmaster and patiently teaching our junior riders. AMATEUR's sire is the Hannoverian stallion ADEPT; he was a very potent stallion and produced 29 approved sons, like the champion stallions ADANIT II and ADRIANO as well as the dressage stallion ABENDWIND. ADEPT also produced some excellent sport horses like the jumper ANSTURM 14 and the dressage horses ABADAN and ADVERSO. AMATEUR's grand sire ARTCHIMEDES was a very popular dressage horse producer; this stallion was known to complete a perfect Prix St. George dressage program at the tender age of 6. His sire ABGLANZ needs no introduction, he is credited to have created the ABSATZ boom and left a dynasty with his sons AALFÄNGER, ABEND, ABGOTT, ABHANG I to III, ABSTAND, ABSURD, AKROBAT, ARTUR, KASSIO, MORGENGLANZ, VALENTIN, ARCHIMEDES and the most famous ABSATZ who was highly praised for his beautiful built, lovely head, and light free action. This stallion had an enormous impact on the breeding of Warmblood horses in Germany and can be found in many International sport horse pedigrees. Also in his pedigree, the Trakehner LAVENDEL who produced one of the best known mares in German jumping history the world famous mare LAVENDEL 11 ridden by Hugo Simon. LAVENDEL's sire LATERAN is credited to have produced some outstanding show jumpers, including the British high jump record holder EVEREST LASTIC. On his mothers side AMATEUR goes back to another East German stallion JUPITER II. A son of the foundation stallion JULIER who produced 15 approved sons and 19 states premium mares. This stallion goes back to one of the oldest refinement stallions JULIUS CESAR XX. Out of this line comes the stallion JUVENTUS, he made history when he completed his 100 day test with the amazing score of 150.91 points and won the stallion test in Redefine.
Her dam ELFRODITE is a moderate framed elegant black mare. She is a Swedish mare, she combines the best of both, Swedish and Hannoverian performance bloodlines and is extremely athletic with powerful movement. On her father's side she goes back to the famous Swedish stallion GASPARI, the sire of 11 approved stallions; he was probably one of the world's greatest producers of dressage horses. Himself a competitor at the Olympics in Rome, he was also the sire of PIAFF who was world, European and Munich Olympic Champion. He also sired the dressage stallions ELEKTRON, GASSENDI and FLYNGE HERKULES. One of GASPARI's daughters is also the dam of the World Cup final winner, silver medalist in the 1986 World Championship and bronze medal winner at the Seoul Olympics the stallion GAUGUIN DE LULLY. On her dam's side this interestingly bred filly goes back to the famous stallion DER LÖWE XX, whose progeny excelled in the sport and also his sons DER LORD, LIOSTRO and LUGANO I.
