LAMURA is a very athletic, compact mare. With lots of personality!

Her sire LIBERO is an interesting stallion; he combines two of the best sport bloodlines. LIBERO is the full brother of the well known stallion LIBERO H. His full brother LIBERO H was approved in 1989 in Holland, he is the most winning LANDGRAF I son to date, with over 25 International jumping wins to his credit and 10 Grand Prix and World Cup wins. In 1990 and 1991 also under his rider Jos Lansing he was champion stallion in Holland, also in 1991 LIBERO H was European champion in La Baule. He also sired the current World champion sire IOWA. LIBERO's sire LANDGRAF I is a legend not only in the Holsteiner breeding, but world wide, he has produced 45 approved sons and such sport horses like LANDVOGT, LAVENDEL, LANCIANO, LANDWIND, LOVELY BOY, LASALL, LAUSBUB, LACROSS, LANDLORD, LUCKY LUKE, LANDEGA, and LIBERO. LIBERO's grand sire is the very popular stallion LADYKILLER XX; this stallion produced 36 approved sons. On his mothers side the stallion RAMIRO, a Holsteiner by birth, has already been labeled Stallion of the Century. He was conceived in Holstein, born in Westphalia, licensed in Neumunster, and was an International show jumper under Fritz Ligges. RAMIRO himself was tremendously successful at show jumping, with many wins in Nations Cups, Puissance and International Grand Prix competitions. RAMIRO influences nearly all European performance studbooks. It is impossible to underestimate RAMIRO's influence on Dutch Warmblood breeding, or to catalog the success of his many, many outstanding offspring. To name just a handful of the hundreds, are RATINA Z, under L. Beerbaum, the gold medal show jumping winner at Barcelona and the World Cup winner in 1992, as well as the approved stallions RINALDO, RIO NEGRO (a Grand Prix dressage horse trained by Willi Schultheis), DONAU, ridden by Thomas Frühmann also RAMIRO'S GIRL and RODNEY both ridden by Fritz Ligges. RONALD (long the most popular Holstein stallion, having himself sired five approved sons), ZEOLIET and DAMIRO (both of whom have sired approved sons), ARMSTRONG, BERNSTEIN, DAGERAAD, ELMERO B and HORATIO, among others. RAMIRO's dam is TORETTE, daughter of ALME Z, the great show jumper producer of this century, known through, among others, GALOUBET and I LOVE YOU and, not least, his approved son JALISCO. TORETTE comes from one of the first and thus oldest riding horse lines in the Netherlands to concentrate on the production of show jumpers. Other names in this lineage are ADORETTE, GRANDIOSO, NE SOUCI, TEXAS and THE BLIND and, in the U.S.A., SABOTEUR, AVANDRO and PALET. Further on his dam's side is D SANS SOUCI, who jumped at the Olympic Games in Munich and in Aachen cleared 2.20 meters.

Her dam FARINA is a very well put together mare. She is very correct and athletic, and promises to follow in her father's footsteps. Her sire FEUEROPAL is a legend in the making. This stallion is a spectacular athlete with numerous winnings and placing in the high preliminary level jumping competitions in Germany. FEUEROPAL's sire, WERTHER, is a son of the famous WENDEKREIS who has sired such stallions as WAGNER, WENDELIN, WENDENBURG, WENDLAND II, WENDULAN and WILDFANG. Also in his pedigree is the stallion MARCIO XX, most noted for producing ride ability. On his mother's side he goes back to one of the greatest Trakehner stallions that ever lived, IMPULS. This horse has 16 approved sons and produced such horses as DAHLWITZ who was ridden by Edith Master of the USA Olympic Team in Montreal in 1976. Also on his mother's side is WINNETOU, a son of FERDINAND, who sired horses like WIDUKIND, international show jumper, ridden by Eric Wauters of Belgium, FERDL, team jumping gold medalist at the 1960 Olympics, ridden by Alvin Schockemoehle, MEHMED, gold medalist 1976 Olympics, ridden by Dr. Reimer Klimke, and FLIPPER, an international show jumper ridden by Hugo Simon. Her dam DAMURA is a very smart and careful Warmblood mare. She has been shown by Christian Waefler, a Bereiter from Switzerland, in the trillium jumper division in 1998. He commented that this is one of the most talented mares he has ever had the pleasure to ride. Her sire {DAMIAN} was himself an International competitor, 1979, Silver Medal, Championship of Poland; 1980, Silver Medal; 1981 Gold Medal; 1982 Silver Medal; 1983 Gold Medal, 1984 Silver Medal. Internationally he competed successfully in CDI and CDIO classes in Gera, West Berlin, Donaueschingen, Aachen, Moscow, Kijev, Ksiaz, Plovdiv, Koposvar, and Kronberg. In 1988, he was a member of the Ontario Young Riders Silver Medal Team. On her mother's side we find the re-nound stallion HUMBOLDT who produced the stallion IMPULS.
